Most Professional Commercial dances are danced to the bass on simple 4/4 tempos. What if you added 6/8 syncopations in your 8 counts or used the snare, harmonies or little claps or sound effects in the music to challenge your audience's ear? This skill shows elite knowledge of musicality. This is an elite level skill that if mastered, can plunge you into elite territory as a choreographer. As a freestyle dancer, this skill will entice your audiences and judges maximizing your musicality. To learn this skill, start by meditating. Turn off all electronics, sit, close your eyes and listen to your surroundings. This works best outdoors. Listen to the sounds of nature and your natural habitat. This is really cool when done in larger cities where there is a lot of traffic. But it's also really cool when done in rural areas. Each environment has its own flow. "You are a product of your environment." As you should be even in your dance. Dancers from the inner-city may move sharper and quicker.
